How to Set Up And Use A Relevant Planner: High School students need to be organized because there’s a lot going on and it gets to be too difficult to remember it all. Traditional planners are often the go-to, but may not be the right planner. Finding out which kind of planner works for you and what information is most relevant to put into the planner makes it more likely that you will use it. This course will help you figure out what the right planner and most relevant information for you is, and then help you know how to use it consistently.
Cheat Sheet Series: SSGP designed the Cheat Sheet Series to help parents understand the basic vocabulary of high school and what going to high school means to their children so they’re able to apply the information they receive relevantly. This group provides value not only for parents of 9th graders who’re transitioning into that important predictor year, but parents of any high school student because there’s challenges and transitions during all 4 years.
We’re all weary of being in front of screens so we’ve designed the Cheat Sheet Series to be a hybrid–we deliver the info in a “live” online group, explain to parents and families how to apply what they’ve learned, and then offer a live “office hour” so parents and families can ask questions.
Option Play Conquer College: Genevieve invented Option Play Conquer College to help High School Seniors, especially future first-generation college students, become familiar with situations they may encounter in a dorm on a campus. When High School students play this game with peers, it gives them a way of talking about what they know and don’t know, leading them to think about more questions in a fun way. This course includes a how-to, a video of High School students playing the game, and an actual Option Play Conquer College Game!
